Chemical products for swimming pools treatment are most of the time incompatible with several other products related to swimming pools treatment. Therefore, it is relevant to follow strictly the transport, handling and stocking instructions to prevent situations of emergencies as life risk, fire or explosion.
- Use only products specifically for swimming pools and which contain manufacturer’s identification, product registration, detailed use instructions, production date, sell-buy date and safety information.
- Read attentively all the instructions on the label before handling the product.
- Use always gloves, mask and protective eyewear when handling chemical products.
- Store the chemical products in their closed original packaging, in clean, dry and fresh place. Never store liquid products on or beside solid products.
- In case of leaks, clean and ventilate the area immediately.
- Avoid concentrated products in contact with the skin and eyes.
- Never mix chemical products with each other. It can cause FIRE AND/OR EXPLOSION.
- Always add the product to water and never the opposite.
- Wash the objects and utensils of measurement, before reusing them.
- Do not reuse the empty packaging. Rinse them well, before throwing away.
- Do not smoke, nor produce fire close to chemical products.
- Always wash hands after handling any chemical product.
- Keep them away from children and pets.
ACCIDENTS AND FIRST AID
In case of accidental ingestion do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention taking the product packaging or label. In case of inhalation or aspiration, take the person to an airy place and if there are intoxication signs seek medical attention. Lest of contact with the skin, wash area thoroughly with soap and water abundantly and if necessary seek medical attention. In case of contact with eyes, wash them with water abundantly for 15 minutes and if the burning persists seek a doctor. Do not give anything orally to an unconscious person.
